Plant-Based Desserts Perfect For Autumn

When it’s cold outside there’s nothing more comforting than a plate of something sweet to bring a little hygge to your home. Whether it’s at the end of a fabulous meal or a cheeky spoonful after the kids have gone to bed, nothing beats an autumnal dessert.

I have to admit that since becoming vegan I haven’t done much making of desserts, it always seemed to be really complicated to make recipes that could normally include animal products, but while researching for this post I have discovered that it doesn’t have to be scary or time-consuming to make tasty plant-based desserts.

On this list are some classics along with some newer recipes, but you will find all of them are 100% delicious. Why not give them a go?

Vegan Peach Crumb Cake – Elephantastic Vegan. What beats a delicious fruity crumble in the autumn? Uhm, nothing!

Vegan Pumpkin Sheet Cake – Jessica In the Kitchen. You might not think that pumpkin in a cake would work, but this recipe prooves that it does!

Vegan Pumpkin Pie – Chocolate Covered Katie. I have always wanted to try this American classic and now I can!

Homemade Gluten-Free Vegan Apple Pie – The Pretty Bee. It just wouldn’t be autumn without an apple pie, would it?

No Bake Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie – Delish Knowledge. When a recipe has ‘no bake’ in the title you just know it’s going to be a quick treat, especially with store-bought crust on the ingredients list.

Vegan 2-Ingredient Cantaloupe Ice Cream – Elephantastic Vegan. Although melon isn’t my favourite of fruits, I can’t deny that this would go perfectly with one of the warm desserts on this list.

Vegan Chocolate Cake Recipe – Jessica in the Kitchen. If you love chocolate then this is the recipe for you. It may as well be called death by chocolate!
