Over the last few years, I have been working on my skincare regime, I am not getting any younger after all, and I have added and removed all manner of products from my routine, some fairly pricy!
Nothing feels better than using a skincare product that you have made yourself (I recently made my own honey, lavender and oat soap) and some, like this sugar scrub, are super quick and easy to create and totally versatile – add your choice of oil and colours to really make it bespoke.
In this lovely scrub, I use only 4 ingredients; sugar, grapeseed oil, lemongrass fragrance oil and some green mica powder. It literally takes 3 mins to combine and you have a scrub that will leave your skin feeling soft and squeaky clean, just be sure to be generous with your favourite moisturiser after use!
Supplies:
¾ cup sugar
¼ cup grapeseed oil
30 drops lemongrass fragrance oil
⅛ teaspoon fruit green mica powder
Directions:
In a small bowl, combine the sugar and mica powder. Stir well.
Add the grapeseed oil and fragrance oil.
Stir well.
Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
