Cinnamon rolls are delicious all year round, but there’s something magical about enjoying them during the Autumn season when a warm, sticky, spiced bun is truly comforting. During the colder months, I try to have a pack or two of the pre-made cinnamon roll dough in the cupboard for when I really fancy a treat.
I hadn’t considered using cinnamon roll dough for any other purpose than to make, well, cinnamon rolls, until I came across this recipe for cinnamon roll waffles! Who’d have thought? An even more delicious way to enjoy them?
This recipe is particularly perfect for Autumn because it uses pumpkin cinnamon rolls, and what is more suited to the colder months than something pumpkin flavoured? This is a really quick and easy recipe and the resulting waffles go perfectly with a pumpkin spiced latte on an evening leading up to Halloween!
Ingredients
1 Can Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls
Halloween Themed Sprinkles
Cooking Spray
Icing (Included with rolls)
Method:
Plug the waffle iron in and let it heat up.
Once heated, lightly spray with cooking spray & place a cinnamon roll in the waffle iron.
Cook for about 1 min 30 seconds.
Remove from the waffle iron & coat with icing.
Sprinkle away.
Serve & enjoy!
