Mimosas are Light, fresh, and festive, they’re perfect for celebrating. Whether you make it for a New Year’s brunch, any holiday gathering, or a lazy weekend morning a mimosa will always be an exciting addition.
Making a classic mimosa couldn’t be simpler, as it only requires 2 basic ingredients: chilled sparkling wine and orange juice served in a champagne flute and garnished with an orange twist.
For the festive season you can zhuzh it up and add some seasonal ingredients like cranberry juice and candy canes to really make a splash! Give this candy cane mimosa a go, it’s super easy and will be sure to stand out at your festive bash.
Top Tip: Mimosas are all about the fizz so you want to make sure you lose as few precious bubbles as possible while you’re making them. If you pour the wine first—especially if you do it slowly and at an angle—you’ll avoid overflowing the glass and losing half of the fizz to the floor. Also, don’t stir your cocktail – any agitation will cause bubbles to pop!
